Puppy Policies and Warranty:
The Frozen Tropics, Inc. prides itself on providing our customers, both nationally and locally, with the highest quality of exotic pets and our puppies are no different.
Our Warranty:
All animals are sold in perfect health free on any defects or disorders. We provide a 1 year limited warranty on puppies sold. This warranty covers the puppy from any congenital problems. We do require a nationally recognized vet (member of the American Animal Hospital Association referred to as the AAHA) to diagnose the animal as congenital defective and provide us with documentation exam and testing methods.
Vaccinations:
All puppies are taken to the Vet for their first series of shots and a fecal exam. You will be given a list of each vaccination given to the puppy and when the shot was administered. Listed below is a recommended schedule to complete the vaccines and other medications.
6 WEEKS

DHP-PV-CV (1st for distemper parvo/hepatitus/parainfluenza-parvo-carona)

Terms of Sale:
All pet sales are FINAL, unless covered by our warranty. Puppies will be released to new owners once financial obligations have been met. We accept payment in Cash, Visa and MasterCard. Please note that any “card purchases” is subject to a 4% additional fee for processing. Please email me in advance if you would like to purchase your puppy with a Visa or MasterCard.
Placing a Puppy on Hold:
We can hold a puppy for a customer if they put half down advance payment. We also will only hold a dog for a maximum of 1 month. ALL DESOPSITS ARE NON REFUNDABLE. At the end of month, I will call the customer holding the puppy to see if they intend on making the final payment. If not, the deposit will be held for another puppy as credit and the puppy will be sold to another interested party. This policy is designed to ensure only serious customers to place dogs on hold.
Shipping of Puppies:
We can ship puppies from our place to yours but it does cost a bit extra, here’s why. When shipping a animal on a commercial flight from one state to another, the FAA requires that it be inspected and certified by a Vet before it’s allowed to board the plane. The FAA also requires it to be shipped in an “approved” kennel to with stand the flight. I used U.S. Air and Continental Air to ship live animals nationwide. The expense of shipping a puppy usually cost about $250.00.
