The Sun Conure is graced with an abundance of color. It is by far, one of the most beautiful parrots in the Conure family. They are small in size but active throughout the day. These birds love to bath, splashing as much as possible. They can be loud at times thus I would not recommend one for apartment life.
Natural Origin: Central and South America
Life Expectancy: 15 to 25 years given proper care and nutrition.
Cage Requirements: Minimum of 24 inch X 24 inch X 36 inch powder coated cages.
Social Interaction: Daily attention required.
Mimic Ability: Low.
Breeding: Clutch sizes are usually 3 - 4 eggs, and will readily breed in a standard cockatiel nest box.
